This morning, Wednesday, in the Tunisian capital, the Minister of Tourism and Handicraft Yassine Hammadi held a working session with the Tunisian Minister of Health, Ali Mrabet, which was attended by officials from the two ministries.
In a statement by the ministry, it was allocated to Algerian-Tunisian cooperation in the field of mineral baths and water treatment.
During this meeting, the two sides reviewed the capabilities of the two countries in the activity of mineral baths and hydrotherapy and agreed to establish a permanent framework of cooperation in this field and to develop joint medical tourism between the two countries.
Algeria and Tunisia strengthen their cooperation in the field of tourism
The Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, Yassin Hammadi, was also transferred to the Republic of Tunisia, to start tomorrow, Tuesday, a two-day working visit. At the invitation of the Tunisian Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts.
According to a ministry statement, Hammadi will jointly supervise with his Tunisian counterpart the work of the meeting of the fifth session of the Algerian-Tunisian joint sectoral committee in the tourism field.
The programming of the works of this session falls within the framework of continuing the path of cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism.
During which, the parameters of the new vision of bilateral relations will be laid out, embodying the common will of the two countries to push bilateral cooperation to promising and integrated horizons, especially in the field of tourism.
This comes through an evaluation of what has been accomplished since the last session in Algeria. As well as reviewing visions, ideas, and initiatives aimed at strengthening and intensifying inter-cooperation mechanisms in many fields.
